Code of Conduct

The Twic Federation is committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and ethical community. This Code of Conduct outlines the values and behaviors expected of all members, leaders, partners, and participants in Twic Federation activities and initiatives.

Core Principles

All members and participants of the Twic Federation commit to upholding the following principles:

• Respect: Treat all individuals with dignity, respect, and courtesy regardless of background, beliefs, or identity.
• Integrity: Act honestly, transparently, and ethically in all dealings and communications.
• Inclusivity: Welcome and support the participation of all Twic people and their allies.
• Accountability: Take responsibility for your actions and their impact on others.
• Non-Discrimination: Reject all forms of discrimination, harassment, and abuse.

Expected Behaviors

Members and participants are expected to:

• Communicate respectfully and listen actively to others
• Respect the privacy and confidentiality of others
• Support and encourage fellow community members
• Contribute positively to Federation activities and initiatives
• Respect cultural traditions and practices
• Follow all applicable laws and regulations
• Resolve conflicts peacefully and constructively

Prohibited Conduct

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

• Harassment, bullying, or intimidation of any kind
• Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, or other protected characteristics
• Violence or threats of violence
• Sexual harassment or misconduct
• Dishonesty or fraud
• Abuse of power or authority
• Violation of others' privacy or confidentiality

Reporting and Accountability

If you witness or experience conduct that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it to the Federation leadership. The Federation is committed to investigating all reports fairly and impartially and taking appropriate action to address violations.

Consequences

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in:

• A warning or reprimand
• Temporary suspension from Federation activities
• Permanent removal from the Federation
• Referral to appropriate legal authorities
