Join us in preserving our heritage and building a stronger Twic community.

The Twic Federation is built on the active participation of community members. Whether you are in South Sudan, East Africa, North America, Australia, or anywhere else in the world, there are many ways to contribute to the Federation's work. Here are the main ways you can get involved:

Join the Federation

Membership in the Twic Federation is open to all Twic people and those who support the Federation's mission. By becoming a member, you gain access to community events, participate in decision-making, and contribute to the Federation's initiatives. Membership was established in 2026.

How to Join:

  • Complete the membership form (available on request)
  • Pay annual membership dues (sliding scale based on ability)
  • Commit to supporting Federation values and activities

Start a Chapter

If you live in a location where there is no Twic Federation chapter, you can help establish one. Chapters serve as local coordination points for community activities, cultural events, and diaspora engagement.

Chapter Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 founding members
  • Elected chapter leadership (chair, secretary, treasurer)
  • Commitment to Federation principles and activities
  • Regular communication with Federation headquarters

Volunteer

The Federation relies on volunteers to implement its programmes and activities. Whether you have a few hours a month or can dedicate more time, your contribution matters.
